I can see that I did stall a bit by eating beef last night. I decided that beef will be a once a week delicacy and probably on Sunday's!

It is too bad because the beef I bought at Whole Foods was not only on sale but it tasted unbelievable! I noticed that I have a better sense of taste now and that I was eating out of boredom!

I have heard that a lot about beef on here. I eat a lot of chicken and beef (steak) and am averaging atleast 1 pound per day if not more (for 3 days it was almost 3 pounds per day). Hmmmmmm.......I wonder if just different people can handle different things. Just a thought. Good luck!!!!!

I tried to limit beef (very lean hamburger or lean top sirloin steak) to a couple of meals a week with no discernable problem.

I suspect it may affect everyone differently, though.

yes, everyone is different and we all have to find what makes this protocol work best for us. It is the same with maintenance! I do best on strictly protein/fat, but others just NEED some healthy carbs in their diet to really succeed. Once you know what works, stick with it! cheering
