PostSubject: Skipping TOM?   Sun Apr 12 2009, 17:22

I have seen lots of posts re: injecting/not injecting during TOM.

My question is- what about skipping your TOM? I am on the pill, so could simply skip this month, as opposed to skipping injections.

Any thoughts?

Tom came for me last week. At the first sign, I stopped the injections. I waited, and waited, and 3 days later, it was like he had came for 1/2 a day and left and never returned. So I just started back up with the injections... I feel fine. I guess the reason you're supposed to stop hcg during TOM is because it "can" make you go longer or heavier. I talked to several people last week when this was an issue for me and most everyone I talked to said they continue with the injections right through TOM and haven't had any problems. I guess its up to you. During my next one, I will just continue the injections as usual though. I"m not going to stop them.

if you inject during TOM you run the risk of becoming immune to HCG, reason enough for me not to!
